The Jewish Publication Society Celebrates Its 120th Anniversary

The Jewish Publication Society recently celebrated its 120th anniversary with a festive reception at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia. At the event, JPS paid tribute to seven of JPS' past presidents: Jerome J. Shestack, Esq.; Professor A. Leo Levin; Ambassador Edward Elson; Martin Cohn, Esq.; Dr. D. Walter Cohen; Harold Cramer, Esq.; and the Honorable Norma L. Shapiro. Also, the L'Dor V'Dor (Generation to Generation) award was presented to Suzanne Fleisher Roberts and Howard Fleisher, in honor of the many members of the Fleisher family who have been instrumental in JPS leadership.
