The JPS Legacy Libraries
Share the intellectual and spiritual rewards of Jewish learning by sponsoring the creation or enhancement of a Jewish library. Women of Valor Library
- Women's interest library
- Includes biographies, midrash, history, and reference titles to celebrate the vibrancy and wide-ranging experiences of Jewish women over the centuries, from biblical times to today.
The Miles Lerman Memorial Library of Jewish Values
Miles Lerman was known for his heroism as a partisan during World War II, for his extraordinary fundraising achievements—he directed the campaign to raise $190 million to build the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, and also raised money to erect a memorial in Belzec, Poland (the concentration camp where his mother died)—and for his humanitarianism. In his memory, JPS is proud to offer this collection as a giving opportunity.
- Includes titles on Jewish ethics and ethical legacies, about exemplary lives, Holocaust-related books, and books for young readers on Jewish history, culture, and literary tradition.
All Library Collections are comprised of titles pre-selected by JPS.
